The SHOUTcast Distributed Network Audio Server (DNAS) is responsible for the actual streaming and broadcasting of your audio content out to the world. In order to run your own SHOUTcast DNAS server, you need to have ample bandwidth and access to your own network server. The SHOUTcast DNAS is recommended for mid-to-advanced level users.
